Financial markets are markets which involve trade in financial assets, and assets. They are unique, because they place buyers and sellers at one place, making it easier for them to find each other, and for them to perform trade at a low transaction cost, and at prices that reflect supply and demand. These assets include:

    • Stocks
    • Bonds
    • Commodities, including precious metals or agricultural goods
