Currently, MR. SHUM abides by the VET standards voluntarily. It does not offer accredited qualifications. This may or may not change in the future.Refund and cancellation policy
This is a human-readable summary of the full policy enlisted below:
• In writing- Refund requests must be put in writing
• Timing- 100% refund is available before seven days after starting
• Late- Refund requests seven days after starting will be rejected
1 Purpose of refund and cancellations
The purpose of the refund and cancellations process is to provide fairness and equity to clients.
2 Withdrawal or cancellation must be in writing
As soon as practicable (and within seven days of enrollment), students should provide in writing to MR. SHUM their intention of withdrawing or canceling enrollment, addressed to the Director, with clearly outlined reasons as to their withdrawal or cancellation. In all cases, relevant documentary evidence (e.g. medical certificate) is required.
3 Requisite charge
Requests for withdrawal seven days from the start of enrollment will result in 100% refund. After seven days, no refund is available to students who leave prior to completion of studies. Extenuating circumstances will be studied on a case-by-case basis, but distance or e-learning education usually voids this possibility. For personal circumstances beyond control, MR. SHUM will provide a refund of fees and charges of the proportion of units not assessed yet. There is no refund for unsuccessful RPL/RCC applications.
A full refund is guaranteed if a unit or qualification is cancelled, for reasons, including that the maximum limit is reached, or otherwise.
4 Confirmation of refund
A refund does not take effect until a confirmation of eligibility.
