They are unique, because they place buyers and sellers at one place, making it easier for them to find each other, and for them to perform trade at a low transaction cost, and at prices that reflect supply and demand. These assets include:

    • Stocks
    • Bonds
    • Commodities, including precious metals or agricultural goods
